In the period 2014-2020, Horizon 2020’s MSCA supported more than 65,000 researchers in Europe and worldwide and funded over 1,000 leading international doctoral networks.
The study covers the financial instruments available under the first of the three pillars of the Excellence Science programme. In addition, it evaluates how the MSCA Actions contribute:
• strengthening and expanding the excellence of the EU’s scientific workforce
• consolidating the European Research Area (ERA) to make the EU’s research and innovation system more competitive on a global scale.
