The General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) informs stakeholders of the Greek Research and Innovation ecosystem that the European Commission has launched a series of Calls for Evidence on strategic initiatives as part of the preparation of the European Union’s future Research and Innovation policies beyond the current Horizon Europe programme.
The purpose of these public consultations is to gather evidence, views and proposals from stakeholders in order to help shape future European priorities in research and innovation.
The initiatives currently open for consultation are:
- European Partnerships to be implemented as Joint Undertakings (open until 14 July 2026)
- European Ocean Research and Innovation Strategy (open until 2 August 2026)
- Water Resilience Research and Innovation Strategy (open until 2 August 2026)
The GSRI encourages research and academic organisations, businesses, social and industrial partners, as well as all interested stakeholders, to actively participate in these consultations by submitting evidence-based views and proposals that will contribute to shaping future European research and innovation policies.
The contribution of the Greek research and innovation community is considered particularly important in defining the European priorities for the next programming period.
Interested stakeholders are invited to participate through the European Commission’s “Have Your Say” portal, where detailed information on each initiative, as well as the relevant deadlines and submission procedures, is available.
