The Joint Research Centre (JRC) launches a new call for higher education institutions (HEI) or universities to participate in the Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Programme (CDP).
The CDP is an initiative of the JRC to establish strategic collaborations with HEIs/universities. The programme facilitates dual PhD projects, where HEIs/universities partner up with the JRC to jointly design, host, and supervise doctoral research across the JRC portfolios. The PhD project serves as a platform to explore fresh ideas and possible future collaborations with the JRC.
About the call:
- The Call is directed at HEIs/universities that wish to jointly organise PhD projects with the JRC and in this way strengthen their ties with the JRC. The call is formulated around 25 Collaboration Topics.
- Successful applicants will have the opportunity to establish a scientific collaboration with the JRC, resulting in a joint PhD project. Whilst staying at JRC premises, the JRC will cover the costs of the doctoral candidates.
- The application deadline in 18 March, 23.59 (CET).
Starting in 2025, the CDP will issue an annual call for expressions of interest from HEIs/universities to participate in the programme.
