The European Commission will set up a European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (the Cloud). Its purpose is to create digital infrastructures, tools and services to effectively address the challenges for museum professionals and to seize in the best possible way the unique opportunities offered by the transition to the digital age. It will interconnect all sizes and species cultural heritage actors to become successful actors in the digital environment. €110 million by 2025 has been earmarked in Horizon Europe for this initiative.
