A significant part of the Annual Report is dedicated to research related policy activities in 2023 with a focus on the EU’s open strategic autonomy, economic security and international cooperation and support for Ukrainian researchers. In the monitoring part, the Report pays a closer look at the results and performance of the different parts of Horizon Europe and the Euratom programme in 2023.
The Annual Report is a legal requirement and intended to inform the European Parliament and the Council.
